To cap off what has been an amazing first year for the new Pandora, I am so pleased to announce that the BFA has awarded Kim, aka Ensign Vecon Fick, as Task Force 72’s Player of the Month.

Both those who have simmed with Kim before, and those of us who have the pleasure for the first time, will know that she is an incredibly gifted writer, a creative force, and a generous player. Not only has she brought the fun and sprightly Fick to our ship, but also the complicated and unique Tisar Zemel, and now Dr Eiri Ashshy. She’s always giving of her time and energy, and continues to be a reliable and active member of the crew. It’s an honour to write with such a talented player and this award is a true recognition of her fantastic contributions to the sim.

Please join me in congratulating Kim on the very well deserved award.

As mentioned above, this has been a stellar first year for the new sim. The Pandora has so far received 9 awards in recognition of our writing; including 4 Player of the Month Awards, and 1 Player of the Quarter Award. Every month it is a genuine struggle to choose just one player to nominate for the award, because you guys do amazing work. However, it is also an incredible actually-fist-pump-in-public delight when the BFA recognises your talents. I’m grateful to have you all on the ship and while awards aren’t necessary for me to say how wonderful I think you are, it’s great to see Bravo Fleet feels the same way.

Onwards to 2018, my friends!

That’s fantastic, and very well earned. Kim has been doing some excellent writing lately, from the flighty Vecon to the petrified Tisar. I’m really looking forward to what’s coming next with Vecon and K’Laus, and with Eiri.
